Bluebell & Bramble Lodge

Our cabins are suitable for persons with walking disabilities but not for persons who need constant wheelchair use. The cabins are built all on one level with a very small 2 inch step over the entrance doorway. Light switches and electrical points are at council regulation height (approx. 45inches from floor) and of a contrasting colour to the walls. The shower units have seats and the bathroom fittings have plenty of room around them. The taps are all lever controlled and there is a 9 inch step up into the shower. The toilet seat height is 16 inches and the sink height is 35 inches.

The table height in the dining area is 29 inches and the work top height is 36 inches. The flooring in the cabin is wooden throughout with rugs in the living area and bedroom, these can be removed and furniture moved around  on request.

The doorways are 34inches wide and the decking access is through double opening French doors.

The area around the cabins is flat with parking next to the cabin front door. The Wyre Forest Discovery Centre nearby has wheelchair friendly paths through the forest and disabled facilities.
