The History of our Log Cabin Holidays
The farmland has been in the family for over 80 years and has been a pig farm for most of those, run by Rob’s father and Rob. The pig farming became less and less profitable and over 20 years ago Rob had to leave the farming and find other work. His father became less able to manage the farm on his own and it fell into disrepair.
It was decided that something needed to be done and the plan was formed to build the forest log cabins and share the beautiful countryside and wildlife with all who wished to stay with us. The farm is now having a new lease of life with our holiday log cabins, ensuring it will stay in the family for many years to come, preserving the area of outstanding natural beauty for anyone who wishes to share it in future years.
